Stephen - That was very considerate of you to post to this site about your Mom's experiences and death. You, undoubtably, have given something for others to think about. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My sympathies on your loss. :( It is tragic that your mother had so many problems from a surgery that was meant to make life easier. I am sure that this is a very difficult time for you, but thank you for finding the strength to come here and remind all of us that surgery is not without risks.
