Hello Markita! I just read your profile to see how you are doing. You are doing so great! 24 lbs in two weeks! Woo Hoo! It took me a month to loose that! I hope that you are feeling good. Take it easy and enjoy someone waiting on you while you can. Pretty soon you will be running around with boundless energy! Keep in touch! Kat

Hello Markita, My name is Katrina and I had the VBG done on 4/12/01 in Houston, TX. In the last 5 weeks I have lost 30 ugly pounds! There is a group online at www.onelist.com group name vbg that has nothing but vbg'ers on it. I know of quite a few people who have had the surgery and are doing great.. Some are around 7-9 years out. The site at onelist has A LOT of members who could answer all your questions. If you want to go to my profile, its quite long tho, and you will find out some of the things that have happend to me before, and after surgery. I will keep you in my prayers.
