Hi Donna. My name is Lori Ann. I had my Lap-rny on August 20th, then on September 28th I had emergency surgery for two adhesional obstructions in my small intestines. I also have epilepsy. My surgeon never questioned any problems with the surgery concerning epilepsy. During my recovery, when I hadn't taken my tegretol and depakote for three days---I started having small seizures---but as soon as I resumed medications they stopped. HI Donna! Well I saw that your consult was upped from 12/19 to the 11/21!!!! Well how did it go for you? Please email or post and let me know! I know doctor Frantzides probably gave you a tentative surgical date like all of the rest of us! Please let us know Im in suspense!
