Barb, I just wanted to send you all of my love and prayers. I am so proud of you. I know you've had a rough go of it lately, but you are such a trooper. You were in the arms of real angels and they did a super job. I look forward to hearing about YOUR great losses and milestones now. Thank you for being there for me. I love you. **Ruthie**

I am very relieved to say that I FINALLY got to speak with Barb, after getting the run around on the phones at the hospital for days. Turns out that she had been in ICU until yesterday after noon. Due to her sleep apnea she had a really hard time coming out of anethesia. She was on a ventilator and heart monitors. Late Saturday night she started going into congestive heart failure. Thankfully the nurse was right on top of things and they got her on some Lasix immediately. She is doing great now and sounds fantastic. She was able to have it done Lap so the pain has been pretty tolerable. She can't be on much for the pain due to her apnea so she has had a little darvocet. She is waiting for her brother in law to pick her up so she can go home today. Please send Barb all of your love. She had a rough and scary first few days and could use the support. Thank you. **RuthieKY**

I just received a message from Barb's son Ben as to her progress. I can now heave a sigh of relief to know that my new friend is just fine! Dear everyone, Hiyas all for those who do not know this is Barb's son Ben and I want to bring you up to speed on my mothers surgery... the procedure went very well with no complications. This is now day 2 of her recovery and I can tell that she is feeling better because she is complaining that she can’t get comfortable (let's face it hospital beds never are) she is not complaining about any real pain only being "sore". The docs are giving her a bit of morphine to take care of any real pain. She had a little trouble coming out of the anesthesia due to her apnea but is fine now. So that’s where we stand as of May 31 7:47 EST and I will keep you updated if anything changes... for now until I learn more,,,no news is good news so if you don’t hear from me assume everything is ok Sincerely, Benjamin Averill
