Hi Georgette, I hope you find all the answers you are searching for! I had my Lap RNY March 4, 2003 and have never been sorry I did the surgery! One Year this week and down 113 pounds, I feel great and can do so much more than I could a year ago. I am also very active in volunteer work...I have two daughters and am the leader of both of their Girl Scout Troops as well as the assistant service unit manager for Girl Scout Leaders in my area. My own daughters are so proud of me and I am so much more active an able to do things I couldn't easily do before....camping, horse back riding, hiking, swimming and the most fun to them is that I now enjoy the amusement park rides with them!
