Hi Debbi, I too have Dr. Schartz from Grinnell. I had my consult on 5/5/03. He said I was a good candidate and should have no problems getting approved for the wls. I am also having the open rny. I am somewhat scared but excited to, just scared about the pain, LOL lookin forward to be skinny though!!! Dr. office said to wait 6 weeks for word fromins, but I have medicare and Medicaid coverage so I'm noy holding my breath or anything. Just wanted to say hey and send some prayers out your way!
