ALERT ALERT Angel reporting that Dawn passed her leak test today and is in a regular room. She had a short walk today and tomorrow looks forward to tearing up the hallways. She has started on clear liquids and was smiling with a roomful of visitors when I got there. She got all 3 balls up on the incentive spirometer and looked wonderful. YEAH!! Congratulations Dawn and welcome to the other side. I will be leaving for vacation tomorrow but will check in with Dawn as soon as I get back.

My sweet angelette had her surgery today and I just got back from visiting her. She is in ICU as planned and I met her parents there. I thought her mom was her sister, she looked so young. Dawn did very well in surgery and was groggy when I went to see her which is to be expected. She did wake up now and then and knew I was there. I don't know if she will remember, thank GOD for morphine. Her vitals were very strong and she had wonderful pink cheeks. She was wearing the leg cuffs and will go for her leak test tomorrow. WAY TO GO DAWN!!!!!! Welcome to the losing side!! Everyone please keep Dawn in your prayers that she has an uneventful recovery. I will update more tomorrow.
