I have just found out that they readmitted my dear friend Candace to the hospital. She had a checkup with Dr. Bailey today. Seems she has been having tons of nausea and dry heaves and has been unable to get hardly any fluids in, she told me yesterday something like 4-8 ounces a day for water. She said the only thing she could handle was some yogurt. She is on IV's and they are running tests. I will update on her situation as I find out more. At this point she is regretting she ever had it done. If I felt that way physically I would too. I am praying it gets better for her quickly. Please send her well wishes and prayers for a speedy way on to a better recovery from her surgery. Thanks yall are great!!~Lise

Here is the update scoop on my dear friend and angel Candace's surgery. I just got home today and able to do it. She came through her surgery just fine even though she threw up from the anethesia a lot in recovery so they kept her there longer than expected. She did not have to go to ICU because she had no sleep apnea or diabetes issues or anything like that. she developed itching and turning red but no one has figured out why she has been doing that yet. Her pain has been controlled except last night she scared the heck out of us in the middle of the night. Maybe she had it too well controlled? You see, she was right across the hall from me so I could hear and I went over to see her as much as I could hobble over there. All of a sudden in the middle of the night I heard a bunch of the staff in there hollering at her,seems they could not wake her up fast enough to suit them. They wound up having to stop the narcotics except for the epidural and flush all of it out of her and put her on a heart monitor. Her husband came walking in on this mess because they did not have time to call him yet. I did not have the number. He was upset but calmed down later. She is just fine today, but still itching and she is starting her walks down the hall, although they are short ones. She is still on ice chips and water and complaining about that. I expect she will be gung ho very shortly. Please say a prayer and sign my angel Candace D's surgical page for me so that it will greet her when she either gets home and back on line OR she might get to hook up by laptop tomorrow at the hospital. They have dataports on their phones in the rooms. Thanks so much....Lise
