Hi John, So happy to hear that you are getting along better with the aftermath of your current surgeries. You have truly been through the mill~! I have taken a LOA from toowls...but just happened to check the site today and read about you. I had my surgery VBG on 9/9/02 at Palms of Pasedena by Dr. Butler. So far insurance has been paying, at least the hospital portions of the bill. I paid Butler $6,000 up front, just in case Medicare doesn't pay up. I also have Aetna thru the State of Mi Retirees...so I'm hoping that I will get a refund! So far I had lost 43.5# as of last visit to Butler on 10/17. Go again on 11.26.02 for another "official" weigh in. I wish you well John and hoping that you and your wife can go about your travels very soon. Best Wishes, Bonnie Shue/Lakeland
