Dawn ~ YOU GO, GIRLFRIEND! What progress you are making and you are such an inspiration to the rest of us out here awaiting surgery. I have 9 days to go until surgery ~ May 2. Thank you for answering my many questions and always having time for me even though we are such new acquaintances! You are wonderful at any weight but "healthier" as you achieve your goals. Good for you!

Dawn, congratulations on your upcoming surgery! May you be blessed with an easy surgery and a rapid, painless recovery! Remember to drink you water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be kind to yourself on your journey to a healthier you.

Hi~~ Just wanted to wish you ALL the best with your upcoming surgery. I'm 5 days post op and know the first couple of days are gonna be rough on you....in fact up until Saturday morning in the hospital, I couldn't believe I'd put myself thru such hell (nose tube, IV, etc). The soreness hasn't been a big issue for me yet---wish I could tolerate the Lortab pain med that the hospital started me on but had to give that up for liquid ibuprofen (tastes TERRIBLE!!). My advice for anyone after surgery: as soon as the doc/nurses give you leave to walk, do as much of it as possible. It'll get you home quicker. Lord bless you and keep you as safe & comforable as possible.
