Getting anxious for Surgery

Well my surgery is October 23rd. I have to admit I'm not nervous at all about having the Lap band done. I think I'm more anxious about getting it done then anything because I have waited for so long to get it done. My insurance requires the 6 month waiting period. So now that it's finally here I can't wait. Of course I won't be able to sleep tomorrow night. Everyone is being very supportive in my family as well at work. My co-workers gave me a bag of baby food today. They said their starting me on my journey for my second week that I can start eating pureed food. hah I thought it was funny.My over night bag is packed for the hospital and I bought all the liquids that I need for when I come home. And of course my protein shakes. This pre-surgical diet is killing me though. But I have to keep telling myself, ONLY ONE MORE DAY!!
