The days seem to roll into one.I go to bed, get up, sit in my chair, start my routine and try to make sure I get enough fluids and protein in. I'm really weak and tired and a bit nauseous when I get up. My eyes are still not focusing like they used to. I go see the Dr. tomorrow. I have lots of questions. I'll pick up some vitamins from Kelly. I'm sure that will help. Not sure when I'm going back to work. I'll know more tomorrow.I was hoping to go to the support group meeting, but Elwin works tonight and I don't feel strong enough to drive yet.
I don't feel comfortable with my meals yet. It seems senseless to cook something just for me as I can only eat a tiny bit.
I made some corned beef hash and had a little of that. It was good. I chewed it well and my tummy tolerated it so that will be a good dish. So far I've eaten fish, potatoes, hash, oatmeal and cream of wheat and of course the old fall backs, yogurt and pudding. I really like the Chobani greek yogurt. It has lots of protein . I get at least one glass of protein powder a day. It has 25 g of protein plus the 7 from the milk, so that's pretty good.
I am living on sugar free popsciles and ice chips.
