Tonya, an EKG is a very simple procedure, you just lie on a table, and small rubber electrodes are placed on your chest, arms, and legs with some conducting gel. They turn the machine on, it produces a printout of your heart rythms, making sure that all is well with your heart. YOu feel nothing, it takes less than 5 minutes, and then you're gone to get dressed!
