I spoke with Karen today (Monday following Friday surgery). She went home on Sunday, has done fine. She is walking a little around her house, still having more than a little pain. (OPEN RNY) She appreciates the messages of support you all have shared with her. THANKS!!!!!

Friday, July 20, 2002 Karen had surgery this morning at 8 a.m. Surgery lasted about 1.5 hours, she was in her room by 11:30 a.m. I talked with her at about 7:20 p.m. (NY time) and she has been up for a short walk, says she is doing well. Thanks for supporting her, keep up the good work taking care of each other!
