Hey, everyone! Just wanted to let you know that Karen had her surgery today and all went well. I spoke with her husband around 3:00 p.m. and she had just made it to her room - was nauseous from the pain meds, but doing fine otherwise. According to her husband, the surgery went beautifully. I'm going to touch base with her later in the week, and will post again when more information becomes available!

Karyn - Egads, I think I just made a huge faux pas - I didn't get your permission to fax your cards to you at the hospital before volunteering to do so (see what happens when you read the 'How to be an Angel' too fast! :) ) So - I will wait for your thumbs up before I zip things off to your surgeon's office, as recommended.
