Lora, I am actually a baby when it comes to pain, but when I woke up it wasn't that bad. My stomach just felt all bandage up. But, when the pain did arrive the morphine pump was my best friend.. The most discomfort is just laying in one postion get to moving around and walk you will be amazed how much better you feel. Just pray and ask the lord to comfort you and help you get over your fears.. GOD BLESS!!

Angel on duty here. Well Lori is doing fine, but by the request of the BTC nurse she is staying offline until she is postop. She is back home and on some heartrate meds and doing great. She is still really scared and worrys about the surgery. I saw here this morning ( she is my neighbor) and she was going to plant some flowers. I have plans to go to the hospital Monday night and will print this and take it to her. So lets show her how much we care and supoport her. I will update on monday after surgery.

Lora sorry you had to put the surgery off, but it's better to be safe. There are things that can go wrong so no need to start it off that way. It will happen for you and you will love you new life and it will be worth all the wait.

Dear Lora ~ My prayers are absolutely with you. I started on my quest in February of 2001 and it was the most difficult emotional roller coaster I've ever been on. Please try and look at this small set back as God's way of telling you another day will be better. Maybe the doctor and his/her spouse have a knock-down blow out fight and he/she would have been in crummy condition to work on you. Maybe all of God's angels were busy helping little kiddo's or people making their way over and they wanted you to have as many as possible on your day. Nothing happens through concidence - coincidence is simply God's way of staying silent...you hang in there, Lora - it will all fall into place and you'll be asking yourself "WHY DID I DO THIS" before too long. :) And don't worry .... that time will pass too, it will get there...I will send you some prayers and positive energy but know your being thought about.

I talked with Lori's husband and they had to cancel the surgery at the last minute. She is on her way back home now, and will be lookiing for a new date in the future. Please keep her in your prayers tonight because we all know that she is disappointed. Sorry Lori
