Congratulations on your decision to make a positive change in your life. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you good luck, good health and a speedy recovery. I had lap RNY on Febr. 8. I had no real pain and I went back to work early because I felt so good. I hope your experience is as positive!

God is good all the time! All the time, God is good! I was thrilled to find your "story" on this site. It was such an encouragement for me. I am a Born-Again Christian as well and at this point in my WLS journey, I am still seeking out a surgeon. Here is Canada, it's hard to find one and when you do, the wait can be more that a year. I am experiencing the same kind of reactions from fellow believers and family as you are, but I am being sure to keep in prayer regarding this decision and listening with open ears to hear the Lord.
