Lunch: Spinach salad with grilled chicken, almonds, mandarin oranges,
and low fat sesame Ginger dressing.

Breakfast: Organic Flax Plus Cereal plus 2%milk
Snack: (after church I was ravenous!!!!) Couple of slices of turkey breast,
4 tortilla chips and salsa, 1/2 c. chocolate soy milk.
Lunch: Fettucine and chicken, 1/4 c peas, 1 slice tomato, brocolli and peppers.
Snack: Slice of Lemon Cake...I know bad, bad, bad!!!!
Dinner: Fettucine and chicken, small slice of pizza
Snack: 2 Girl Scout Cookies
After documenting this, I realize that I am eating way too many carbs and sugar...I'll start afresh tomorrow. Also, I did not drink my water and I drank with my meals and to top everything off...Did not take my supplements...Boy am I on a roll. My first fill isn't until March 5th. I have some good news...since the surgery I have not had to chew one Tums.
Before surgery I needed a Pez dispenser to pop those things out of. I had this great epiphany after eating that piece of pizza and not feeling like I was going to die.
Exercise: 30 minute walk outside. 30 minutes on bike.

been eating perfectly but much better than I normally would. Another issue I'm having is drinking with my meals. I'm trying to make a conscious effort to only take small sips. I'm hoping I did not waste 15k. Exercising is going good.

I've been struggling with food....I guess when you are used to eating 3000 - 4000 calories a day, breaking old habits is hard to do. Right now I think I can eat as much as I want. I get my first fill in a couple of weeks and I am very anxious to feel the restriction. I have been doing great with exercise.
Currently, I am alternating using the treadmill and exercise bike. When I walk alot my ankles and heels start screaming....My poor body frame is just not equipped to handle this load that I have put on it. Also, I cannot wait till next Tuesday to take a beloved bath. I really didn't think I would miss baths as much as I do. Next Tuesday also marks the end of the mushy phase and the transition to real food. I am going to have to been very careful with my caloric intake. Part of my issue is that I am opposed to using much Splenda. This stuff was created as an insecticide and its not natural. Now I think if you use sparingly its probably ok......however, I don't think that the verdict is totally out yet for eating as much as some of my fellow banders are doing. With that said, they are able to limit the calories and are having great success.
