Lisa came into her room about 45 minutes ago. She's in great spirits. All is going well. Dr. Wetter and all of the staff at the hospital have been great!

Lisa is in recovery! Yippee! Dr. Wetter said it went perfectly. Whew. Coral and I are in her room waiting in her room for her to arrive.

Lisa has been in surgery for 2 hours. We don't know anything yet. Everything was perfect in pre-op. We met with the intake nurse, anethesiologist, op room nurse and I shook Dr. Wetter's hand on the way out and thanked him for taking care of her. Lisa was not nervous and was in great spirits. I joked with her that I would see her in a few minutes since that will seem to be the case from her perspective. I'm waiting with our friend Coral who is 3 years out from the same procedure with Dr. Wetter. She has been a cheerleader for Lisa and is helping me wait and not worry. More soon...

Tuesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else.
