Hi Laurel, I'd say don't be nervous but heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. For me the week before was harder than the week after just because I didn't know what to expect. Right after I had more soreness than pain but nothing that couldn't be managed. Remember to keep it positive. That means only positive people around you; the negative ones are just ill-informed. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

Dear Laurel, Praying for a quick and speeedy recovery as you start your journey to the losing and healthier side of life. God bless you. I had type 2 diabetes before my surgery and took 2 oral medications wich i do not take anymore and blood pressure and chlosteral meds are half dosage than before. E-Mail me anytime.
