Hi from Knightdale May. I have been keeping up with you and want to wish you all the best. I hope to be seeing you on the other side. My prayers are with you for a speedy recovery!! Would love to hear from you when you feel like getting back on the computer. You can probably give me some good advice. I have my first consult on August 21, so, I am now getting all my paperwork together. Say a prayer for me! Best wishes May, Kathy Peedin

Welcome to the sunny side! I'm so happy for you! I'm guessing Dr. Malik assisted Dr. Enochs today as the nurse said he had several longer surgeries today. I wish you all the best that life has to offer and an easy recovery!

Angel flying in with an update: May's DH called me about 11:15am this morning. She was out of surgery, everything went well, and on her way to recovery. I will update more later.

Mae, May God Bless you to have a safe journey to the other side. You are in Dr Enochs' hands and I know you will be fine. Know the entire TABS group is behind you all the way. Again, Good Luck.

Congratulations on your surgery! The next year is going to be the most amazing of your life. I just want to let you know that here in the beginning is the toughest part. You will feel better than normal soon! These first few weeks and the surgery will only be a memory and you will be on to your new life. I am 13 months post op and I have lost nearly 130 pounds. I went from a size 24 to a 4 in a little over 6 months. Miracles do and will happen for you. I have tried to keep a profile that can be used as a resource. That answers all of the questions that I had when I was in your shoes. And links to various places to do more of your own research. If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to that understands please feel free to email me.
