Well, I think this will be my final angel update. Mary Serrano is home and doing great. I just received an email from her daughter, she says Mary is tired but otherwise good. She's been a good girl and has been getting her walking in. I don't think we could ask for more only 48 hours post-op. Way To Go Mary!!!!!!!!Lenore Q. 22 years, 11 months ago
Hello again AMOS friends....... today I went to see Mary Serrano at the hospital. Let me tell you, she looked great. She's been up and walking and hasn't been using her morphine pump at all... she says it makes her too groggy and isn't having much pain anyway. While I was there she had her first jello and broth. After a couple of spoonfuls her new tummy felt uncomfortable, but she was doing just great. It was amazing to see her looking so well only 18 hours after surgery! when I left she was ready for a nap.... I guess that big lunch just wore her out..... or maybe it was the company........Lenore Q. 22 years, 11 months ago
Hello AMOS friends, I have great news, Mary Serrano has come through her surgery just fine. Mary was the third surgery of the day and was scheduled for surgery at 1:30. Unfortunately, the first case of the day had many complications and Mary ended up having to wait until around 5pm for her surgery. Mary's husband (who has a great voice by the way) says the surgery went well but they did have to remove her gallbladder, but even with that, the surgery only took 1 hour and 30-45 mins.. Mary was still in recovery at 7:45 pm but should be resting comfortably in her room tonight. Since she had such late day I'm going to leave her alone for tonight and pop in for a visit tomorrow. I will report back after seeing her for myself.Tina J. 22 years, 11 months ago
