Congratulations Adrienne on your decision to have surgery and for picking the best surgical team in the world. I had Lap RNY with Dr. Nusbaum, Dr. Bilof's partner on February 10,2005. I was in St Barnabas two days and everything went off without a hitch. I am 5 months out and have lost 61 pounds so far. I've gone from a size 22/24 to a size 14. As long as you follow the rules of the pouch and exercise you will do fine. Try to move around as soon as you feel better. It helps the weight loss so much and improves your tolerance for digesting foods. God Bless you as you enter the losing side.
