Hi Allison: I am sheryl in NM. I am only 5 weeks postop and I have heard this is normal and will be going on for about another 4 months or so because you body is going through a lot of changes hormonily and so forth. I was told that It will grow back in time and you wont even wory about this in time.It doesnt seem to have anything to do with diet exercise or vitimines. I t has everything to do with the tramatic thing the body is going through at this time.If you need some help get some counceling it might help you deal with the changes your body is going through. Allison, you asked about a cookbook. Write to: [email protected]. He is a group support leader in San Diego and he has written a cookbook that takes you thru the stages of wls. There are some wonderful ideas for protein shakes too.
