Hello Char - Congratulations, your special day is finally here! I suspect you are experiencing a range of emotions right now. The week before my surgery I was on a natural high, almost a euphoric state of mind. I couldn't believe I was getting that "second" chance ...to LIVE life again. I wish you all the success and happiness that comes with being healthier and thinner. Just remember your overall attitude plays a large role in your recovery, keep it POSITIVE and ask lots and lots of questions. This is a new learning experience for all that choose WLS and we draw so much from each other. There can be a few challenges along the way, but no worse then sitting on the sidelines - confined by our overweight shells. You're about to break free, enjoy and embrace all the wonderful "moments" that come with this journey. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a successful and uneventful surgery. ....................... "The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"

Just wanted to wish you luck for surgery - I am sure you will do well and soon you will be on the losing side! Take care of yourself and take all the pain medication offered! You will get better faster if you are not in pain. Just do what the doctors and nurses say, sip your water and walk, walk, walk! See you on the losing side! Jackie
