Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 97 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hi Debra! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY TO YA! I have Some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another....observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense.***You will find this to be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself and your family. I know I did. May God keep you at this side as you travel this new journey. You will have ups and downs, fears and joys. Remember though, you can always turn to us, your AMOS family for support, encouragement and whatever else you might need. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery. Good luck and God Bless!!!
