Yesterday I met with Dr. S again. We agreed I need to concentrate on eliminating bad habits and planning better ahead of time for meals. I will go back to see him again in Feb.After I left his office I stopped off at a little store to try my first true protein mix. I will just say that if you like drinking Fleets prep kits you will love what I tasted!! In the mean time I've talked to a couple of friends who have some experience with protein mix and they never drink it mixed with water. With that encouraging info I will attempt the protein samples again soon and try it in something more substantial than H2O.
So -- today I went to the gym and long story short I pulled a muscle in my chest, neck, shoulder area -if that makes any sense. The good news is that about 30 mintues after I took 4 Advil I was finally able to convince myself it was NOT a heart attack but a pulled muscle. The bad news is I left the gym in such a panic I only did half my work out. It pretty much feels back to normal tonight and I'm sure I'll live to see another protein drink!
PS - And guess which machine it was? That overhead arm machine that I thought looked like it could outsmart me.
