01/07 07:13 PM Hi Everyone, Just got off the phone with Charlen,she is really hoarse,and wanting the ice chips but doing well, NO PAIN she said. She wanted me to say a special thank you to Christie Bixby and also Kim Bettis. She said that you both have been so sweet to her.While I was on the phone with her she said that when she got back to her room from recovery she got right up and went the bathroom, WOW, right after her lap band.Please say a prayer for her and watch over her until she is home.Will try and call her tomorrow and check on her progress. Hi Everyone, Just spoke with Charlene hubby, Randy and just is in the recovery room.Her surgery was only about 1 hour and 45 minutes long.The doctor told him the surgery went very well, no complications. He said to tell everyone here thanks for all the kind words and well wishes before she had her surgery and that she will be back on the board as soon as she is able.I told him to give Charlene a hug and a kiss and that she is offically on the losing side now.Way to go Charlene. ~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Huggs and Prayers
