Hi Everyone! My name is Christy & Shelly is my best friend. I went to the hospital to see her today & told her I would put an update on here for her. She made it through surgery. She is doing well with "no complications". Of course she is in pain as to be expected with such a surgery. I want to thank everyone on this site for the added support you have shown Shelly. As I said, she is my best friend & I love her dearly. I wish I could do more for her. I will say, her husband is doing a wonderful job taking care of her right now. I sat back and watched him today & started to cry. I've never seen a man with so much compassion & love for someone. WOW!!! I will keep you all posted as I see her & talk to her. If you have anything you would like to say to her, I will print out the posts and take them to the hospital for her. Thanks again for the support you give each other here. I think it is great!
