Hi Stephanie :) Hope I am doing this right in answering your question in the message board about your feeling hungry all the time. I had the EXACT same experience and concerns too when I was newly post-op. I was PHYSICALLY HUNGRY (and not just having head hunger) and it was awful. But it did get better over time. My profile deals a lot with this issue and please feel free to visit my profile and read it as it might help to give you some answers but also to let you know that you certainly aren't alone in this :) Many smiles :) Caroline, 10 wks post up and -57 lbs.

Congratulations on your surgery! The next year is going to be the most amazing of your life. I just want to let you know that here in the beginning is the toughest part. You will feel better than normal soon! These first few weeks and the surgery will only be a memory and you will be on to your new life. I am 13 months post op and I have lost nearly 130 pounds. I went from a size 24 to a 4 in a little over 6 months. Miracles do and will happen for you. I have tried to keep a profile that can be used as a resource. That answers all of the questions that I had when I was in your shoes. And links to various places to do more of your own research. If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to that understands please feel free to email me.
