Good MORNING fellow October BABY!!!! - and an early Happy ONE YEAR Re-birthday to you!!! I’ll be in sunny Las Vegas for a week so I wanted to send you early salutations! I found this quote and just love it! When running up a hill, it’s alright to give up as many times as you wish – as long as your feet keep moving. By - Shoma Morita M.D. I can only imagine that your experience has been wonderful. Full of changes and new experiences. Congratulations to YOU!!! If you have an opportunity and/or haven’t already, please stop by and update your profile! We’d all love to know how well you’ve progressed!!! If you have a few moments, please take the time to send well wishes to your fellow “re-birthday” buddies!!! It’s a great boost to them as well as yourself. I'd also like to invite you to participate in the October 2003 message board. We do have activity and enjoy hearing from our peers! Have a FANTASTIC DAY! I visited Stephanie this evening. And she is just fine. Although she kept zoning in and out. For the most part, she was in high spirits. She hasn't even used the morphine pump "Yet". She's breathing well. And the nose jewelry will hopefully come out tomorrow. Thank you all for your sincere thoughts and prayers. She really enjoyed the card I printed out for her. Take care and God bless you all.

This is Stephanie's angel again coming in for a soft landing. I just left the hospital around noon. I was able to see her very handsome doctor. Maybe I need to change doctors for his bedside manner (hahaha). Anyways, he said she was doing just fine. And she had a full lap done. He did not have to do hand-assist. She will get her nose tube out tomorrow. And could possibly be at home by Saturday. God does answers prayers.

Welcome to the losing side :-) Breathe and walk and walk and breathe. It hurts to walk but you will feel better within minutes. Every day will get easier. But for now...walk and breathe and breathe and walk. And take time out to be pampered, you've earned it. Good luck, Vickie

Hi Stephanie! Welcome to the losing side!!!! It's a grand new life that you've just stepped into - and one that will have its ups and downs - but mostly ups because of the downed pounds! :) Congratulations honey and I wish you a painless, speedy recovery! Cheryl N, lap rny 6/2/03 -90 lbs.
