Janice is still in the hospital she thought she might get to come home today but she didn't so maybe she will tomorrow. I called her this morning and she was wanting to come home but said she was still glad she had her surgery and would do it again if she had her time to do over.

Janice is still doing great today. If she passes the swallow test tomorrow and all else goes well she will get to come home. She Thanks everyone for their prayers and support. Our prayers are with you (and there's a lot of weight behind those prayers)!! Hee-hee! Life is basically a self-fulfilling prophecy - wear the rosy colored glasses and KNOW that all will be wonderful. Dream lovely thoughts of next year at this time.... Good luck, speedy recovery, and positive thoughts!!

7-16-02 JANICE HAD HER SURGERY TODAY AND SO FAR SO GOOD. WE CHECKED BACK IN ON HER ABOUT 6:00 TONIGHT AND SHE STILL HAS NOT HAD ANY PAIN SHOTS. HOPE IT LAST THROUGH THE NIGHT LIKE THAT. SHE WILL HAVE THE DYE RUN THROUGH TOMORROW TO MAKE SURE SHE DOES NOT HAVE ANY LEAKS SO JUST KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS AND I WILL UPDATE AS NEW INFORMATION BECOME AVAILABLE. SHE WAS VERY PREPARED AND READY FOR THIS AND I FEEL GOD HAS BEEN WITH HER. MARY SHOOPMAN, KY

JAN, GOOD LUCK TOMORROW WILL SEE YOU BEFORE OR AFTER SURGERY. JUST THINK HOW YOU WILL LOOK IN THAT LITTLE HOT PINK BIKINI WHEN YOU GET HUNGRY TONIGHT AND WHILE YOU ARE ON THE TOLIET. IN A MONTH OR TWO YOU WILL FORGET ALL THE PAIN. DON'T GET TO LITTLE BEFORE I DO. LOVE, AUNT MARY AND VICKI

Jan, Well, your big day is almost here. I know you are ready! You will do great, but keep in mind that there may be some tough times, but they quickly pass if you stay positive and focused. I will be sure to keep everyone informed of your progress. My prayers will be with you. Terri KY

We are wishing you all the best. Stay strong and keep your faith. My husband just had surgery on 7-9-02 and is doing well. He was as scared as you are now. Enjoy your day and try to sleep tonight. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. And even now.. I will ask our Lord to watch over you and your loved ones. To give you the strength and peace tonight and tomorrow.To cast out the fear. To stand by and guide you Doctor. And most off all Lord...
