Congratulations Tommie. You are going to have a wonderful stay. I was there on 11/30 , but I was at SanJavier. Cornerstone was having some work expanded on elevators, and the noise would be bothersome to Dr. Joya's pts, so he had none there at the time. I had a wonderful experience, just remember to walk, move and you will do great! You will love the resort, they are subperb. They will have special broth with no rice for you to order from room service or hotel. They have great SF popsicles in the resort shops. They are grapefruit, but they do not taste like yukky grapefruit!! Tell Dr. Joya hi from Sandy! Hang in there Tommie, its not long. How you doing on the liquid pre op diet? You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery .
