Woohoo! We both were done on the same date! We're going to have to keep each other updated then ;) Today is June 17 and I'm home- it's so good to be home. I'm kind of nauseous and I'm walking like a pregnant lady, but I guess I'm alright! I understand your wanting to not tell anyone. Thats what I was going for. Apparently alot of people know, I'm really pissed off about that. But everyone has been really supportive. <3 Bonne Chance!

Hi Jenn! It was great meeting you last night. My guess is you are up and doing your laps around the nurses station by now. As soon as you are able, stop in on the PA board and let us all know how you are doing.

Hello Jennifer - Just a quick note to let you know that I'll be thinking of you on your very special and life changing day and I wanted to be one of many to say Congratulations! My thoughts and prayers are with you for a safe and speedy recovery. I'm a FIRM believer that positive attitudes and a good sense of humor can be a big help in getting those results. You're about to be blessed with a second chance to live a healthier and thinner life. Granted, there can be some ROUGH spots along the way but NO worse then sitting life out on the sidelines in our over weight shells. Watch out world, WLS surgery will set you free and the sky is the limit! This surgery has been nothing short of a miracle for me and I will be forever grateful. I've lost 230 lbs total and have been at goal in maintenance for 2 years now. I can honestly say there are absolutely NO REGRETS!!! :) I'll leave you with one of my FAVORITE quotes...... <i>"To grow, you must be willing to let your present and future be totally <u>unlike</u> your past. Your history is not your destiny." -- Alan Cohen </i> ..... <b>So very true! </b>

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery!! You must be thoroughly excited! I know I was. I practically leapt onto the table! I was nervous too sure. But more excited about the upcoming life I was about to begin. I had been lurking on the OH site for quite some time while researching WLS. And when that day finally came I was ecstatic that I was going to be a “loser” like so many of our OH Family. That’s what this site is…A Family…The people here are so amazing. As you are probably well aware by now. Just know this. No matter where you are, what you’re doing or what you’re going thru. We are here and ready to help and support you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during your surgery. Good luck and we’ll be waiting on the lighter side. Much love…
