Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 93 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hi Theresa! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re here to give you our support, lend an ear and to not judge. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a successful, problem-free surgery and recovery. I’m so happy for you. Soon you will be on the other side and will join the ranks of the losers. Get ready for your life to change forever. Wishing you much success in your weight-loss journey. Hugs to you today. Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another....observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. - Zen Wisdom! May God keep you close to his side as you travel this new journey. You will have ups and downs. You will have fears and joys. Remember that we, your AMOS family, is always here for you. You will discover that this will be the singlemost BEST thing you could ever do for yourself and your family. I know I did! I pray you have a speedy and easy recovery. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. Good luck and God Bless!!! RNY 10/31/03 -77!!!
