Get well soon Wink, I am sure you made the right decision. I come from the East Bay Area, and have relatives in Sacramento. I made the same decision about the surgery. But I had so many health issues, including diabetes. I had gone up and done for most of my 53 years. I had many complications after surgery, but after all is done, I am glad we made the choice to have it. I believe I added many years to my life. My mother died early from complications from diabetes. I had already had it for 15 years. Taking 5 shots of insulin/day was not easy. Everyone said loose weight and it will get better. But it was not, going up and down in weight was hard on my body. Anyway, get better soon.
