I am switching insurance, how soon is too soon

to ask them to cover WLS. I had Preferred Health Network insurance and they denied me because WLS is an exclusion. Rather than fighting with them, it's easier for me to just switch insurance companies to a company I know will approve me. I don't have many co-morbities, but at 455# 6', I'm sure i'll have no problems getting approved. My question is, how long after I switch to the new company should I wait to submit a letter asking them to cover me?
