Do you have to have Gallbladder removed if you have stones?

I have been having bloating pain and pressure under my ribs for a while now and asked the Dr. if it could be my Gallbladder. She said more than likley not, just indigestion, HUH. I insisted on a ultrasound and had it this morning and haven't gotten the official report, but saw tons of white dots in the gallbladder. The tech said it was galstones, but I have no Idea how many or how big. I am just sick of this pain. I REALLY DON'T WANT MY GALLBLADDER OUT!!!!!!!! I have been really lucky and have had no Dirrehia(SP?)and I am very afraid that if I get the Gallbladder out I will have really loose BM's. If you have stones, do you have to have the Gallbladder removed? Thanks for the help!!!!
