6 months out - will I get to goal?

HI everyone! I am (almost) 6 months out and started at 292 and now weigh 189, I wonder if this is it for me?! My weight loss has really slowed down since month 4/5. I have 50 more pounds to lose, My surgeon's assistant told me that she doesn't think that I will get to goal. My question is what can I do to get there. I need help. I am exercising, I am drinking the water, I think i need to concentrate on protien. I don't think I get enough of that. Is their a diet out there that I can follow, or would someone be willing to send me their meal plan, I need help for more than just one day. I am begining to give up hope. Im so desperate to get the last 50 off I thought I was doing well But I was told other wise at my checkup, I should have lost more. Any help would me appreciated. Thank you!
