Are you 5'9 and weighed 280 or 41 BMI?

Just curious. I am having my surgery 06/03/04. I am excited and worried at the same time. I am afraid of failure, but excited about my new life. Aside from this, I am just wondering about others who started at 5'9 280lbs. How long did it take you to lose the weight? Briefly what was your routine? My surgeon mentioned that my target weight would be 155. I once weighed 152 in 1993 before I had my children and I was kinda thin to be so tall. I would settle for 165-170. Please share yout stories. Thanks
