Does anyone notice their saliva seems very salty after surgery?

Im not adding salt to food, or eating anything extra salty but I notice my saliva is very salty. Im about 4 weeks post-op and not having too many difficulties with food. This just seems a bit odd. Anyone else having such a sensation? Or know why? Thanks
