Left side pain - almost 3 months out

My surgery was on September 8th. Everything is going as expected but for the last few mornings I'm getting up with sharp pains on my left side, starting under my breast bone area. Is this something anyone else has experienced or is this not from surgery at all? I'm not sure what to do... as the day goes longer it goes away but it is really quite cripalling while it is going on.
