5 weeks from VS I lost only 10 lbs. before 8 day plateau, then steady wt. GAIN ever

first 5 days after surgery I gained 10 lbs. (water I was told)over next month I lost that and 10 lbs of weight. Fifth wk Ive gained 1/2 lb every couple of days!Everybody else reports 30-40-50 lb weight loss first 6 wks after surgery. I'm 68 with bad arthritus. W/o being able to take aleve I 'm not able to walk a whole lot, but I've forced myself to do as much as possible and stick to the diet. Does this surgery just not work well for us older, post hysterectomy women. What can I do to see the wonderful results the others have had?????And when can I start back on aleve?PB
