*Bowel Adhesions and prolapse

hi i had open rny dec 2001 and lost a total of approx 80kg and am approx 67kg now and have developed bowel adhesions and a prolapse, has anybody else had these complications years after there surgery. This is the only stoumach surgery i have had and apparently they normally only appear after surgerys but i may be incorrect. has anyone had surgery to rectify this problem and if so how did it go. I am seeing my surgeon tommorow for my surgery date on this matter and would appreciate comment thanks...rachel
