Hernia? How does it feel?

Let's get this part out of the way. I went to see my new PCP yesterday and he has referred me out to bariatrics (I jus switched medical groups....). Anyway, had RNY on 1/31/08. Lately, don't even know how long, I've been having this low grade pain on my left side....right at the location where they took the J-tube from. Every now and again I'll feel a pain, not sharp enough to make me bend over in pain, but definately something I feel. Now it seems like I can feel it towards my navel too. My new PCP told me it could be a hernia, but he'd let the bariatrics team take a look since I had my surgery less than a year ago. I'mjust wondering how it feels. I don't have an appt with bariatrics yet, but they should be calling within a few days with an appiontment.
