I am unable to take my vitamins and protien shakes...any suggestions?
I have been since having my surgery unable to drink my protien shakes and take vitamins. I know this is detremental in my success but no matter how hard I try I cannot keep them down. I have tried different brands, etc....I am only able to eat homestyle chicken noodle soup, cream of wheat and no sugar jello but let me tell you it is getting very hard to keep eating this diet. My surgery was on Dec 4th and since then that has all I have eaten. My sense of smell and taste have completely been altered and frankly at times I feel like it would just be better off to curl up in a ball and die. I don't want to feel this way nor do I want to waste this opportunity to be healthy but it is so hard to eat without throwing up or the nausa that goes along with each day. I recently changed jobs and have lost my insurance so going to the doctors is out of the question. Has anyone else gone through this and what will help? I am run down, no energy and unable to excercise because of not wanting to get out of bed. Please help someone....at this point I feel like this was the biggest mistake of my life! HELP! I started out before surgery at 434 lbs and now am at 292....my weight on surgery day was 377 so I am proud of the fact I have lost so much but not sure how much longer my body will co-operate. Thanks in advance for any help *hugs*
