I had TAH and b4 that I am anemic and now they put me on Repliva

I am on repliva now. It is expensive and only 21 days of active iron and 7 inactive can you explain to me why? If I am so anemic at age 41 it is a 7 would they put me on a 7 days inactive pill? Thanks
