Weight loss before fill

I'm 6 weeks out from a lap-band procedure. I will have my first fill in 3 weeks. I have lost a total of 16 pounds since surgery and have gained 1 pound last week and 1 pound this week. I am also having a lot of hunger. Is all of this normal pre-fill?
