How long does light-headedness last?

I am 5 weeks post-op, and understand that my body needs to get used to the new eating and all the changes and healing. But how long can I expect the light-headedness and dizzy spells to last? I eat often and am having no problems with any specific foods. I drink all the time. But especially now that I am back at work, I can't just laydown for a few minutes when I get to feeling this way like I did before I returned to work. I know this should clear up, but when???
