Doctor Lost his insurance?

My Wife is planning to have surgery with DR. Adaniels, in West Islip, NY, i have read a few posta lately, that the DR. lost his malpractice insurance and that his P.A. quit unexpectly, in the last month, can anyone verify this information, and if it is correct give me further information about whats going on?
